Wilbur Rohrer

As the family business’ second generation, Wilbur has had an integral part in the development and growth of Rohrer’s Quarry since taking leadership in 1962. In addition to the many responsibilities involving our company, he promotes the industry as a board member of PA Aggregates and Concrete Association. He also places a high regard on giving back to the local community, where Wilbur serves on the Board of Directors of Brethren Village and is an active member of the pastoral team at Middle Creek Church of the Brethren. In his free time, Wilbur enjoys spending time with his wife Judy and seventeen grandchildren, at his cabin in the mountains. Other activities include hunting, fishing and skiing during the winter season.

Vernon Martin

Vernon began at Rohrer’s Quarry in 1984 as a haul truck driver and plant operator. His strong work ethic and farming background helped him to successfully learn the many aspects of managing and maintaining the crushing plant. Presently, he supervises the aggregate, lime and chip production plants, as well as an active business partner. Vernon lives in Manheim with his wife, Bonnie, and their four children. He enjoys camping with the family and snowmobiling in Canada and Maine.

Travis Rohrer

Upon graduation from Messiah College with a degree in Business Administration, Travis began working at Rohrer’s Quarry in 1996. He is part of the family business’ third generation that is now prepared to lead the company into the new century. Currently, he supervises the daily operations of the stone and concrete delivery departments. Outside of Rohrer’s, Travis serves the community he lives in as a township supervisor. He also enjoys spending an evening out with his wife, Leigh Ann, and time with their three children. His hobbies include archery and rifle hunting, snow skiing and golfing.

Tim Rohrer

Hot days with the paving crew, weed whacking and picking mud balls off the conveyors were among young Tim’s experiences around the quarry. Upon graduation from high school, he began learning the many responsibilities of mining the limestone to produce Rohrer’s current aggregates. In 1995, he became another third generation co-owner of the business. Today, Tim manages the daily quarry operations. He has a PA blasters license and is certified in blast vibration monitoring. As a member of the men’s group of his church, Tim works on projects designed to help the people in need of his community. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, hiking, and refinishing furniture. He lives in Lititz with his wife, Laurie, their four children and two hunting dogs.

Tom Kifolo
Controller
Tom grew up in the Lewisburg area. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania where he received a B S in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Tom and his wife, Kristen, moved to this area in the late 1980’s to work for a local accounting firm. In 1995, Tom became a part of Rohrer’s Quarry as Controller. He continues to manage the financial growth of this small family business. Tom, Kristen and their sons, Anthony and Alex, live in Lancaster Twp. When he is outside the office, he enjoys martial arts, boating and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, as well as hunting and other outdoor activities.
